What happens after an accident?
One of the questions that might come up is what can you expect in the emergency room after an injury. There are many hospitals in the Orlando area and after an accident occurs, it is common for a client to go to the emergency room. Oftentimes you will be transported there by emergency services but sometimes you may be transported by a family member or even transport yourself. One of the things to be aware of is that many of these cases are driven by documentation so it’s important to be accurate about what happened in the accident. Obviously, you should be sure to tell them everything that is hurting you. At that time, you will usually undergo CT scans or x-rays especially if you had a head injury or you’re complaining of neck back or extremity injuries. It’s important to note that one of the things you will learn really quickly is that most of the hospitals charge an awful lot of money to perform CT scans but it’s important that you have them done. Additionally, it’s important that almost immediately after you leave the emergency room, if you haven’t already done so, is that you contact us at the Florida Personal Injury Law Team so we can explain about the remainder of your medical treatment before too much time passes. We can help you with your medical providers and explaining what should happen with each one of them, including the emergency room.
